Aglio di Voghiera DOP (Voghiera Garlic PDO), DOP wines of the Consorzio Vini Colli Bolognesi, two products only apparently very far from each other, which actually show unexpected points in common, starting from the region of origin, including interesting pairings able to highlight flavors and character of these products with designation of origin.

This is precisely the purpose of the Emilia Tasting project, which has decided to organize an eno-gastronomic tour that starts from the place of origin of the two products, Emilia, through different European and world stops, involving prestigious chefs, who will intrigue the palate and will warm the hearts of the participants with training sessions, tasting menus and recipes based on Aglio di Voghiera PDO paired with the PDO wines of the Consorzio Vini Colli Bolognesi.

A culinary but also historical journey, where the tradition of production and the bond with the territory, give food and wine unique and surprising flavors. A project that aims to enhance the spirit and the close territorial relationship of two Emilian excellences, still to be discovered beyond their regional borders.

The project is implemented by the Consorzio Vini Colli Bolognesi and the Cooperativa Voghierese a r.l. thanks to the contribution of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme of Emilia Romagna Region (overall budget approved 299.132,87 €).

Due to Brexit, the project has undergone several modifications approved by the Emilia Romagna Region: the number of events has been limited and 2020 workshops were only focussed on Danish market
