Aglio di Voghiera garlic and Colli Bolognesi wines: in appearance, two products very different from each other, but that actually have many things in common, not only their region of origin, but also special dishes and pairings that enhance their flavours and character.

And this is precisely the aim of the project Emilia Tasting, a food and wine tour that starts off in Emilia, home to the two products, then proceeds to locations in Europe and other parts of the world. The tour will also see the participation of renowned chefs, including Diego Gottardi and the Michelin star chef Alberto Bettini of Trattoria Amerigo dal 1934, who will delight the palates and warm the hearts of participants with tasting menus and recipes based on Aglio di Voghiera DOP paired with the wines of the Consorzio Colli Bolognesi.

A tour both culinary and historical, where tradition in production and the close bond with the territory make their way into dishes with unique and surprising flavours.

The 11 stops on the tour will highlight the spirit and the close connection in terms of land and taste shared by these exceptional products which are not well known enough outside their region.
