Diary of the day: Emilia Tasting Carousel, Restaurant, London

admin Uncategorized

An extraordinary wine & food pairing event was held at Carousel, in the setting of an avant-garde restaurant in London downtown. A special location which has always surprised and welcomed its guests with “extra food” activities, such as art exhibitions, video installations, yoga classes, food and wine workshops, etc.

The event was dedicated to journalists and economic operators not only involved in the food&wine sector, but also leisure e travel.Chef Alberto Bettini of the Michelin starred Trattoria Da Amerigo 1934 performed PDO products for an outstanding pairing between PDO Voghiera Garlic and PDO Colli Bolognesi Wines. A specific focus was given to designations such as the DOCG Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto Spumante and Frizzante (sparkling and frizzy), DOC Colli Bolognesi Bologna Bianco, DOC Colli Bolognesi Bologna Rosso and DOC Colli Bolognesi Barbera. Food preparations were made using the PDO Voghiera Garlic : a great chance to discover a number of amazing ways to use this product.

Where cuisine usually meets art, for one evening the Emilian tradition was welcomed through the scent and flavours of two of its finest products: PDO Voghiera Garlic  and Colli Bolognesi PDO Wines.
